A man from Likoni in Mombasa County, in Kenya suffered serious burns after his wife threw hot cooking oil on him on Sunday, December 25. According to eDaily, Evelyn Atieno had accused her husband Bruce Omondi of infidelity, and on the fateful day she bought two liters of cooking oil from a shop, boiled it and poured it on his head, chest, and private parts before escaping. Confirming the incident, Likoni OCPD Willy Simba said police are looking for Atieno, who remains at large. Simba says Atieno, 30, burned her husband Sunday morning while he was still asleep following a Saturday night disagreement over food and the man’s alleged philandering habits. According to neighbours, the couple has been wrangling quite much recently. Omondi said his wife has for the past three years been threatening him with unspecified action, adding that he has been a victim of domestic violence since getting married to Atieno.

Ending the year with style, popular media personality Toke Makinwa threw a pyjama themed party for her friends and colleagues in the industry. With everyone dressed in their best pyjamas, the Oasis Med Spa in Ikoyi venue of the party had Tiwa Savage, Elohor Aisien, Latasha Ngwube, Yvonne Nwosu, Arese Ugwu, Gbemi Olagbegi-Olateru and Bolanle Olakunni in attendance. Afro pop singer Wizkid allegedly ignored a lady on the night of Thursday, December 29 at the Sound City MVP Awards at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos. According to Jokerboiblog.com, the lady who was reportedly stars truck could not but use her camera when Wizkid and his team were asked to sit right by the unknown lady. Immediately Ojuelegba singer sat beside her, the lady allegedly started taking photos of her and Wizkid which the singer found uncomfortable. At the slightest given opportunity, the singer allegedly changed seat with one of his team members who then sat in between him and the lady. During the 2016 Headies, Wizkid allegedly snubbed Eva Alordiah’s fiancé Caesar’s greeting only to bypass him to hug Eva, though he later denied seeing Caesar. The Ojuelegba singer went home with the African Artist of the Year and Male Artist of the Year award at the Sound City MVP Awards.
